TREATMENT PROCESS

BC 4 system septic tank_001.jpg

The waster water travels through 4 different chambers :

1st chambers : anaerobic treatment and decantation (solid separation)

2nd and 3rd chambers : aerobic treatment in which the strength of bacteria are boosted by an oxygen input. These live bacterias are fed by the waste, and consolidate the treatment process

4th chambers : develops another bacteria (anoxic) which finalise the treatment. Before being wasted out, this grey water is passing through the chlorinator, which eliminates remaining bacteries

GREASE TRAP

When fat, oil, and grease (FOG) are poured down the drain, sewer blockages and overflows can occur. Sewer overflows spill raw sewage onto city streets and sidewalks, into storm drains leading to the river, and onto your property becoming a health hazard. Grease traps and supporting systems and services can help reduce blockages.

The great trap is an important element of the waste water treatment.

It works like a pre-filter , separating solids, fats , grease and oil wastes from the kitchen before discharging its filtered effluents to the Aerobic Treatment System (ATS).
